Sign out, back up, erase
Ownership and status verification may be required. Activation locks must be removed before purchase. A handset still signed in to an Apple Account or a Google account cannot be set up by the next owner, and only you can clear it, with your password, from the device or from the account online. We do not buy lost or stolen devices. The guides walk through it.
