  • Video calls sit on the processor

    Encoding your own camera feed, decoding everyone else's, and blurring a background all land on the CPU, usually while a browser holding thirty tabs sits behind the call. Cores and memory get sized for that combination rather than for an idle desktop.

  • Your screens set the spec

    Panel count, resolution and refresh rate decide which outputs the machine needs and therefore the graphics and the board. Tell us the model of each monitor and we work out the ports, the cable versions and any adapter before you see a list.

  • Where office speed comes from

    Almost nothing in an office workload is graphics work. The waiting people complain about is a drive reading or memory filling up, so an NVMe SSD and enough RAM to hold your everyday applications change how the machine feels far more than a larger card does.

  • Quiet is a specification

    Most of the noise in a cheap desktop comes from small fans spinning hard, and thin steel panels pass the rest straight into the room. Larger coolers turning slowly, in a case with dampening, deal with both. Fan curves are set on the bench, not left at default.

    Every component comes back to you by brand, model and price. Nothing is ordered until you tell us the list is right.

  3. Parts in, machine assembled

The ones that come up most.

Will my existing monitors work with it?
Send us the model numbers. What decides the answer is which outputs the build needs, HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C, and how many panels at what resolution, and that feeds back into the graphics choice and sometimes the motherboard. Two or three screens run off the integrated Radeon graphics in the Office Standard list; the other two are put together for four.
Can you move everything off my old computer?
Documents, photos, mail profiles and browser bookmarks are the usual list, and it happens before you take the new machine home. Data transfer: Available. Call (916) 627-1818 for details. The old computer stays yours either way.
Can I add to it later?
That is part of how the list is chosen: memory slots left open where the budget allows, a power supply with headroom above what the parts draw, and a case with spare drive mounts. Bring it back to the shop when you want more storage, more memory or another display output, and the install is done here.
How soon could I have one?
Ask about turnaround when you check in; it depends on the repair and parts availability. Getting the parts on your list in is part of that, and we tell you what is still on order.
What if a component fails after I have it?
Ask about our repair warranty; terms are printed on your repair ticket. Your quote lists the maker and model of every part in the machine, which is what a manufacturer claim needs, and the build comes back to the same bench it was assembled on.
